BYD.
Greece & Cyprus. One connected digital experience.
The project
- UX/UI design
- Web development
- Vehicle configurators
- Interactive maps
One global brand, two markets. We created a shared digital experience for BYD in Greece and Cyprus, connecting model discovery, vehicle configuration and the dealer network.
For a brand operating at BYD’s scale, every part of the website has a job to do. The visitor needs to find a model, understand its technology, explore the choices and see how it fits into everyday life. Working from a shared design foundation for both markets, we connected those moments: a visual mega menu, immersive model pages, vehicle configuration, interactive route maps and a searchable dealer network. Each step carries the same brand identity while answering a different question. From the first look to the nearest showroom, the journey stays connected.
From first impression to the road.
01Discover
A whole range. A clear starting point.
The first challenge is orientation. With electric cars, Super Hybrids and SUVs sharing one website, a visitor should be able to recognise the options before opening a model page. We built a visual mega menu that brings the vehicles into the navigation itself. Model imagery, short descriptions and category filters make the range easier to scan, with direct routes into both product discovery and configuration.

02Explore & configure
Explore the car. Make it your own.
The model page and configurator are two consecutive steps in the same experience. On the DOLPHIN G DM-i page, large visuals and an immersive interior presentation establish the character of the car, before revealing its technology, practical features and versions. Discovery then becomes a choice. The DOLPHIN SURF configurator connects version and colour selection with the vehicle image and price breakdown. Visitors see their choice take shape and can continue into an enquiry when they are ready.

03Understand
Turn kilometres into a journey you recognise.
A range figure becomes more meaningful when you can see it on a map. On the ATTO 2 DM-i page, we built an interactive comparison that connects each version to a route across Greece. Switching between Active and Boost redraws the route on the map: Patras–Orestiada or Gytheio–Xanthi. It turns a specification into a visible journey and gives visitors a more tangible way to explore the difference between versions.

04Connect
A nationwide network. A local next step.
The online journey needs somewhere to go. BYD’s network spans showrooms, service locations and body shops, each serving a different need. We brought them into a single map-led finder. Visitors can switch service categories, search by area or postcode and explore locations through the map and listing. Addresses, phone numbers, opening hours and directions stay close to the choice. A large network becomes something a visitor can navigate around their own location and needs.

The bigger picture
Two markets, one experience
BYD’s presence in Greece and Cyprus shares the same design approach. A common structure keeps the brand identity consistent and the experience familiar.
Complexity made usable
A broad range of vehicles, version choices and network locations is organised around the decisions people actually need to make.
A clear next step
Model pages lead into configuration and enquiries. The network finder connects that online interest with a showroom, service point or body shop.
